I graduated from Georgia Perimeter College with a certificate in Interior Decoration. I'm a charter member of Decorator's Alliance of North America (DANA) where I gained my "Certified Professional Decorator" distinction with that association. I am also a member of the Georgia Chapter of International Furnishings and Design Association (IFDA). Continuing education and networking with my peers is important to me because I strive grow within my profession, always to be open to new ideas and to share what I've learned.
Within my community, I am a member of the Tucker Arts Guild and the Tucker Historical Society, two great organizations that I am proud to support. Committment to community efforts I deem worthwhile is important to me on a personal and professional level.
I also strive for personal growth by attending weekly Toastmaster meetings with my friends in club Gwinnett #833 because this gives me the opportunity to stretch my abilities as a speaker. I learn to listen to others in a more expanded method and feel more comfortable in speaking to a few people or to a larger audience.
My husband, Harry and I live with our cat-kids Joey, Scout and Teddy in our renovated bungelow circa 1947 in downtown Tucker, Georgia.
